Wynn Las Vegas Reports Two Legionnaires' Disease Cases Among Guests

Health officials are currently investigating two cases of Legionnaires’ disease involving guests who stayed at Wynn Las Vegas in late 2025 and early 2026. The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) confirmed that both cases are travel-related, with environmental samples from the resort initially testing positive for Legionella bacteria.

In response, Wynn Las Vegas has initiated a comprehensive water system disinfection and remediation process to address the issue. The resort is working closely with health authorities to ensure guest safety and prevent further exposure.

The SNHD is urging all guests who stayed at Wynn Las Vegas during the affected period to monitor their health and seek medical attention if they experience symptoms such as fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. Legionnaires’ disease is a severe form of pneumonia caused by inhaling water droplets containing Legionella bacteria, though it is not spread person-to-person.

Authorities continue to investigate the source of the bacteria and are taking necessary precautions to mitigate risks. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
