Spanish Ponzi Victims Set to Recover Millions from UK Gambling Operators

Spanish Ponzi victims are set to recover millions after a court ordered UK gambling operators to surrender funds linked to an alleged €15 million (US$17 million) investment fraud.

Approximately 200 individuals who entrusted money to accused fraudster Iban Juvanteny Gómez will initially receive around 38% of the amounts accepted by the court.

The recovery represents more than a third of their recognized losses, offering some relief to those affected by the scheme.

The development follows investigations that traced illicit proceeds to UK-based gambling entities, prompting regulatory action and asset seizure.

Affected investors await further distribution as legal proceedings continue.
