Emergency responders were called to assist the comedian on Friday, September 18, following what initial reports from TMZ characterized as an apparent suicide attempt. He was immediately transported to a nearby Las Vegas hospital for urgent treatment.

Shortly after the reports surfaced, his publicist, Jami Schlicher, issued a brief statement addressing the situation. Schlicher confirmed that the 58-year-old entertainer is recovering and actively receiving professional care. She also urged fans and media outlets to respect the privacy of the performer and his family during this sensitive time. Updates from His Representation

Public statements have remained focused on his health and well-being. Rather than elaborating on the specific events that prompted the emergency call, his team emphasized that recovery is the top priority. Colleagues throughout the resort corridor have expressed their well-wishes, noting the immense pressure often carried by long-standing headliners in the high-stakes entertainment capital.
