Bally’s Colorado Casino Workers Become State’s First to Unionize

Bally’s Colorado casino workers have made history by voting to unionize. In a card‑check process, employees at the company’s East, North and West properties in Black Hawk chose to join Teamsters Local 455. The vote covers about 110 workers, including bartenders, cashiers, cooks and other hourly staff.

Union organizers say this is the first successful unionization effort for casino workers in the state. They hope the new contract will bring better wages, improved scheduling and stronger workplace protections. Bally’s management has not yet commented on the outcome.
